Google Sandbox is the presumed area in which new websites are placed – in a virtual sense – in order to be evaluated by Google’s bots. The reason that Google Sandbox was said to exist is to ensure that Google’s Quality Guidelines are followed by all new websites.
While there was some debate as to whether the Google Sandbox actually exists, it is clear that the theory touches upon something regarded as key to marketers: the eventual page rank of any webpage and website. Therefore, regardless of Sandbox’s existence, it’s a reminder that White Hat marketing techniques should be used over Black Hat ones.
