Carousel (SERP Feature)

SEOSERP Feature

The carousel is one of many SERP Features that sometimes appears at the top of search results pages. A carousel itself is a sliding row of images that web users can click through on a desktop or swipe through on a smartphone or mobile device.

Each item shared within a carousel features an image with some text that describes the image. This is the case whether the web user is searching for sports stars, celebrities, tourist sites or prominent examples of a certain form of art.

As with other SERP Features, having an image or entry featured in a carousel is beneficial for a website or webpage’s SEO performance.
